RALLY CHALLENGE
This experience takes place in our Hyundai Coupe 2ltr 16 valve fully works prepared rally cars built by the Hyundai World Rally Team and used previously by them as recce cars.
During this course you will be taught how to drive a car on a real rally stage whilst being introduced to master techniques including lift off oversteer and handbrake turns! It is the perfect introduction to real 'rally' driving skills. The Hyundai is a two wheel drive car and is a brilliant stepping stone to driving our four wheel drive Mitsubishi Lancer Evolutions and Subaru Impreza WRX Stis.
This experience is for half a day and includes three driving sessions.
The Experience
Available at Dalby Forest, Twyford Wood and Oxford.
9.00am or 1.00pm - Arrive for Registration
Refreshments available from the Hospitality Truck and you will need to allow up to half a day at the venue.
You will be required to sign our activity form prior to participating on the experience.Drivers are divided into groups of 4 to share the same cars and instructor throughout the experience.
Safety briefing session with an instructor. The briefing does not include any out-of-car tuition
Session 1
Each participant will drive a fully works-prepared Hyundai Coupe 2ltr 16 valve rally car around the stage with the instructor who will teach the basic rally driving technique to suit the course surface.
Session 2
By the second session you'll understand the cars strengths and weaknesses better and will be able to start practicising your newly acquired skills
Session 3
The flying lap! In the final session you should be sliding the cars around whichever of our locations you have chosen, putting all your new skills to good use and getting the most out of these cars!
At the end of the session why not purchase a 'High Speed Passenger Ride' and let your instructor show you how this car should be driven!
